I think I must be missing something obvious but I can't complete this mission.
I have gone to the destination and destroyed the ship. Have located the 'Data Storage Device' and scanned it with the codebreaker, but I keep getting a message saying "your attempt to access the data storage had failed this time".
The mission details say I need to destroy the listening post, but I cannot work out exactly what is is I need to destroy.
The mission description now has 'objective completed' in green, but if I go back to the agent he says I have not carried out all the objectives! Presumably that is because I don't have the Data Chip, but I can't see where I am supposed to have collected this from.
I have re-read the objectives 50 times but I stil can't see what I am missing. |

Hmmm. As a new player (2 days) I'm finding the mission descriptions hard to decipher.
Now even though I have already been to the mission location twice before, I can't find the jump gate that leads me to the deadspace. Anyone got any good tips on finding it?

Aaahh yes, that all sound familiar. It's the lack of detail in the mission description that slightly annoys me. It's not that it need to give step by step instructions, but the specifics on what actually needs to be destroyed would help.

This is exactly how I got there the first and 2nd time I have tired to do this mission. I killed the scout on my first attempt, and scanned the device god knows how many times. However, when I have gone back for a 3rd go I warp to the location and nothing is there. It's as if the acceleration gate has vanished.

I think you must be right as the whole thing had disappeared. As I was so early in the game I restarted with a new character. I'm already doing better than before.
